Our whole wedding day is happening at St George's Bristol. This 200-year-old former church is now a striking music venue. St George’s Bristol is located in the city centre, a short walk from the harbour and Clifton Triangle.

The ceremony will begin at 1pm, followed by drinks, dinner and entertainment until midnight.

We'll give you more information on the timeline of the day closer to the wedding.

Our dress code is semi-formal, which is somewhere in the middle of formal and casual, without leaning too heavily into either extreme. 

Basically, we’d like you to make an effort for our big day, but also feel like you can express yourself and feel comfortable. You can find more inspiration and advice here.

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. 

However, our venue has a courtyard and some beautiful garden spaces so you can make the most of the August sunshine!

Drinks, dinner, and a few surprises. Our wedding will not be non-traditional, so expect the unexpected.

Unfortunately there is no free parking available at the venue. The nearest car parks are:

Trenchard Street Car Park - 7-8 min walk to the venue

Millennium Square Car Park - 12 min walk to the venue

Please be aware that the area to the South-East of the venue is part of the Bristol Clean Air Zone. The venue itself is not in the BCAZ, but it sits right on the boundary. You can view a map of the Bristol Clean Air Zone and check any associated charges for your vehicle here.

We need each person to RSVP separately, so if you're bringing a plus one, they'll need to fill out the form too.

We know 2026 feels like the distant future, but we'd appreciate your response as soon as possible if you'd like to attend, as this helps us hugely throughout the planning process.

This is a child-free wedding, with a few exceptions for close family members who are involved in the ceremony. 

Please do not bring your children to our wedding.

We will make it very clear to each guest whether or not they may bring a plus one.

If your invitation does not state that you may bring a plus one, please do not bring any additional guests to our wedding.

St George's Bristol is, broadly speaking, an easily accessible venue. 

As a historic building, it does have some access issues, but steps have been taken to address these. We don't believe these issues will affect anyone attending our wedding.

We LOVE Italian food, so we’re planning an Italian-themed feast. We’ll provide more information on this closer to the time.

The venue’s bar offers a wide ranging and locally sourced selection of drinks.
